Nata a Lugano nel 1985, ha frequentato il centro scolastico per le industrie artistiche (CSIA) ottenendo nel 2004 il diploma di grafica, dopo alcuni anni di esperienza anche in ambito fotografico presso uno studio di comunicazione del mendrisiotto svolge dal 2010 entrambe le attività come indipendente, affiancando all’attività commerciale anche progetti personali: nel 2013 ha inizio “Moghegno-Monterey”, dedicato all’emigrazione ticinese negli Stati Uniti dove in sei viaggi ha ritratto diverse famiglie in territorio americano e australiano, questo progetto (assieme a “swiss rocks”) è stato esposto ad ottobre 2022 presso il consolato svizzero di San Francisco.
Nel 2015 ha vinto il primo premio allo Swiss Press Photo Award nella categoria ritratti.
Nel 2023 ha vinto il secondo premio allo Swiss Press Photo Award nella categoria ritratti.
Nel 2026 ha vinto il secondo premio allo Swiss Press Photo Award nella categoria attualità.
Nel 2007 ha vissuto quattro mesi in Australia, sia per apprendere l’inglese che per viaggiare nell’Outback.
Collabora regolarmente con alcune testate giornalistiche nazionali realizzando reportages e ritratti.
Born in 1985, Flavia attended the CSIA arts school in Lugano, Switzerland, where she graduated in 2004 with a degree in graphic design. After a few years of experience in the field of photography, in 2010 she set up her own freelance agency offering both graphic design and photographic services, flanking her commercial activity with personal works: in 2013 she started the project “Moghegno-Monterey” dedicated to swissitalian emigrants, where in six trips she portrayed different families in the United States and Australia, this project (along with “swiss rocks”) was exhibited in October 2022 at the Swiss consulate in San Francisco.
In 2015 she won the first prize at the Swiss Press Photo Award in the portraits category.
In 2023 she won the second prize at the Swiss Press Photo Award in the portraits category. In 2026 she won the second prize at the Swiss Press Photo Award in the news category. In 2007, she lived in Australia for four months, both to learn English and to travel in the Outback.
Collaborates regularly with some national newspaper, producing reports and portraits.
